To put it briefly, I loved the story.

I liked how the tiger was used as a figure first in the title to provoke interest among the readers and later throughout the story to highlight how tiger as a threat took various forms. First, literally as a tiger followed by Cable ‘tiger’, Real estate and later most importantly Sambamurthi. Genuinely fascinated by how the author made a point in the story in its conclusion. We often see stories on social issues preaching more on how a society should be (idealistic) and what can be done vaguely to get there. It’s funny how they don’t decipher what is wrong in the society to begin with. Only when you the “whys” you can go think about “what can be done?”. This is where the author and his stands out as this “Chikkani Puli” is a social commentary highlighting the hypocrisies of people in general and prominent people with ‘principles’ in the particular. Looking forward to read more of author Hari’s stories.
