Srinivas తెలుగు బ్లాగుల వ్యాఖ్యలు
This installment is very readable, interesting, and (logically)clarified many conceptual doubts i used to have, when I read about this(JJT theory) in 11th.
But first, I liked this argument.
అయితే, వీటిని చూసి గ్రీకులు గానీ, భారతీయులు గానీ ఆధునిక పరమాణు సిద్ధాంతాన్ని పూర్వమే కనుగొన్నారని అనుకోకూడదు.
Now a days, this type of arguments/assertions(we know everything, before) are increasing on media.
To be frank, most ancient ideas are beliefs and are not backed by scientific reasoning or logic. They are just ideas. That said, each generation contributed to science(to understand things in and around them). This process accelerated post 1500 AD.
The evolution of cathode ray tube is interesting. We just studied that this apparatus produces that result. However, how it originated remained a question, to me. Thanks for clarifying.
This assertion by older geenration to next, seems to be constant across generations.
Thank you.
Very interesting.
The descriptions reminded me of 2 books. Hampi to Harappa data by Tirumala Ramachandra and Devalayalapai Boothu bommalu enduku by Tapi Dharma Rao.
The description of the street of Vijayanagar is very realistic and reminded me of the Aditya 369 movie scene (your description is more realistic and better).
After reading your description and seeing a few other places myself, my feeling that “we are not able to protect/market our cultural heritage properly” was reinforced.
Fully agree with your last sentence.
Thanks for taking us along with you on the entire journey.
Keep traveling (enjoying) and enthralling us with travelogues.
Nice read.
As usual, you made us travel with you to all those great places. It leaves the readers both thoughtful and jealous. Thoughtful, to know and understand the difficulties faced by trekkers and the difficulties of the people living there. Jealous, thinking why we are not able to make such trips when we can (age-wise).
The idea about “civilization changing the beautiful culture of villages” is both thoughtful and inevitable.
The poetic idea that all hills are contributing to the Birendra pond is heartwarming.
The experience of trekking is interesting. But the life of society around, how it is changing (for the better) at the cost of the environment, is a routine and can be seen in many societies. However, one cannot expect the underprivileged to remain so for long. Education is catalyzing that change. The writer captured this nuance well.
The last sentence is true and memorable.
Thanks for sharing.
Nice to read the details of Marconi’s contribution. In our science books, there were 2-3 sentences and the effort was not highlighted. Very interesting.
Thank you Hanumantha rao Garu and EEMATA team.
As usual, waiting for next installment.
There is a good travelogue by Dasari Amarendra, on his Thai travel. Please read if interested.
